 REV. JOSEPH KRUGER: 1921-1924 The Rev. Kruqer preached his first sermon at St. Andrews on January 2, 1921. On May 8 he was installed as pastor by the Rev. .A. A. Schoen with services in the German language. On that same day a son was born to the Krugers. A number of improvements were made to the church and parsonage while he served St. Andrews and the 40th anniversary was celebrated on October 14, 1923. He preached his final service on November 9, 1924 before going to a parish in Woodlawn, Indiana. In 1983 his widow attended the 100th celebration at St. Andrews. |
